Since becoming an assassin, you've been earning some money and a little reputation around your turf. Petty kills for an extra buck but things changed for you when you caught the attention of a notorious organization. The UAA was the organization that could turn you into a celebrity by taking out powerful figures. Of course, joining such an organization doesn't come easy. Before joining, you are assigned the task to assassinate the world's finest killers. In addition to killing ex-ranked assassins, you have to kill them in their own territory.

"Sup boss? Watcha doin?" Zect asked mischievously and prodded his mom's cheek a few times before she blew into his face. Zect gave a grin and sat down backwards on the closest chair waiting for an answer. "Just reading wazzit to you? You a cop or something, kiddo?" she replied back amused.

"Naw~ Jus' checkin' up on ya like the usual. I don't want ya waltzing into a coffin, y'know?"

"Dontcha have work or something?"

"Eh, yeah guess I'll be leavin' now"

Straightening up, Zect reached for an apple on the table at the same time his mom did. "Jinx on a coke!" both of them yelled loudly at each other and just as quickly, clasped their mouths realizing they were still in a hospital. It wasn't a library but, the atmosphere was more or less the same. The blue-haired teen slowly inched towards the door and whispered, "I owe ya a coke." "Heads up," a healthy red apple had almost hit him in the head if his reactions were any slower, "I didn't really want it anyways."

Zect bit down on the apple and savored the crispy sound it made before waving to his mom. Yeah, it was a lie this time. He didn't really have "work" per say and wasn't quite sure what the sender wanted from him. All he knew was that the letter was addressed to him and it was important. Rounding the corner of his destination, Zect took a few more bites out of the apple and ditched it. Taking a good look at the place, it was just an old run down building.

Shrugging his shoulders, he decided that it was worth checking out. The letter sent was pretty fancy albeit, short. "Yello? Anybody home?" he called out into the spacious darkness and surveyed the place. Not much to see besides darkness. The silence didn't last long and soon enough, the young assassin was pinned up against a wall by a large man's bare hand around his neck. "Y'know what? You got a lotta shit witchoo," Zect choked out and slashed the man's wrist with his butterfly knife.

An ugly howl echoed throughout the abandoned place and the man quickly released Zect from his grasp. He wasn't in a hurry to kill the guy and made a decision to hide behind the rubble. Zect huffed softly and stared at the mysterious man's silhouette, eyes finally adjusting. The howling continued as the blood kept pouring out of the man's wound. As much as he'd love to murder the guy right then and there, keeping a distance was the best bet for Zect. After all, his assaulter could easily overpower him and maybe even crush him to death.

Silence again and the huge figure was now slumped over in a pool of blood. Cautiously, Zect walked towards him to check if he's actually dead and much to his surprise, the man gave a beast-like roar before trying to strangle him again. Of course, this time, Zect had his knife ready and gave a quick slash across the man's neck. Blood was now sprayed all over him and the man did indeed drop dead. A clap came from a distance and instinctively, Zect pointed his knife in front of him towards the other figure. "Excellent! You truly are a skilled assassin like they say. Congratulations you've passed."

It was a female's voice for sure and with a distinct accent that couldn't be found around these parts. So many questions were emerging and he wanted all of them answered. Now.

"What the fuck are you talking about? Who are you?!" he seethed and clung onto his knife even harder.

"Sylvia Christel and I'm here to inform you that you're qualified to be a ranked assassin within the UAA. Although your performance here was quite disappointing," She replied coolly.

"Like I give a rat's ass about what you think. What's with that g--"

A shuffling sound was behind him and he could see there were many people moving the body of his latest kill. It was the first time that's he's seen this and before he could ask, Sylvia explained. "We were testing your skills as an assassin and if you were killed, then you're obviously not qualified. As for them, they're apart of the UAA's body disposal team. You'll be departing tomorrow night."

Zect was about to protest however, Sylvia was already leaving and he could hear the sound of her high heels slowly fading in the distance. Tired and confused, a groan escaped Zect's mouth. Just as Sylvia said, the body was disposed and the all the blood was cleaned excluding his bloodied clothes. What a pain...

Jin was watching the television as usually. The news was on and was spouting out crap as usually. The people in the bar were chattering, bantering about random stuff. Two guys in front of him shouted, obviously drunk,"Can I gesh shum more prease?"

Jin sighed, grabbing a small glass and poured a little whiskey. He threw it at the guy."Please get out sir."

Angrily he walked out with his buddy who was trying to comfort him. What a unique day that was. He closed down the bar and went to the back to lite a cigarette. By reflex he ducked. Five holes suddenly appeared on the wall. Jin immediately took out his pistols."Can't a lad enjoy a smoke?" Jin started to run towards the gunner. He could see the man in the hoodie start to flee. Jin could tell he wasn't around here because the man ran left into an dead end alley. Jin snickered.Easy kill The man turned around and started to fire. Jin jumped on the wall to dodge and shot back while running closer. He hit him in the legs so the man wouldn't be able to move. In response, the man panicked and pulled out his rifle. Jin came close and jumped on the gun forcing it down. The man let go and pulled out two sub machine guns. Where does he keep those? The man yelled out furiously and sprayed his bullets everywhere. Jin was able to quickly get behind him.

"You ruined my break. Thus, I kill you."

Before the man could turn around he found himself blind. The place where his eyes would be had been replaced with two bayonets. Before he can scream, his neck had been sliced. Jin looked at his opponent. The man seemed to be a foreigner from the East. In a distance, clapping could be heard. Jin pull out his guns and aimed. A blond woman came out with a team of men behind her.

"Tell me who you are. You have 5 seconds before you shoot these bullets in your head."

The woman laughed. The men started to go around the body.

"I am Sylvia Christal from the UAA and you have been qualified to join as a ranked assassin."

Why would I care?"

She smiled and started to walk away.

"Your skills are good enough but you the way you kills is quite ugly. You might be able to improve yourself with us. I assure you, you will not go unrewarded."

Jin watched her leave in a car. He looked around and couldn't fine any signs of a fight. Just a empty alley. He sighed and started to walk back to the bar. What a boring day...

Akins sighs, popping his neck loudly as he walks down the barren street. After his little escapade in Asyut, his entire body has been aching for days. Being chained up and beaten to a bloody pulp in your sleep tends to do that to you, he supposes.

"Such a beautiful city,” he speaks aloud, admiring the lights above him. Turning his head upward, Akins takes in a deep breath to savor the smell of the light rain beginning to drip onto his face. Eyes fluttering closed in bliss, he sighs contently.

Naturally, such a peaceful moment couldn’t last for him. A set of knuckles connecting with his nose ensured that.

"What the hell?!" Akins cries, stumbling backward. Akins cups his nose instinctively, a bit of blood trickling between his fingers. Vision clearing, he sees a behemoth of a man standing before him. His eyes are widened, the lid never touching the irises. His lips are pulled back in a toothy grin, his head cocked slightly to one side.

"Shouldn’t be walking around all on your own, pretty boy,the man teases. His voice raises and lowers randomly, giving off the aura of true insanity. The man takes a single step forward, Akins’ reflexes taking over and forcing him into a battle stance.

“Don’t try anything, dumbass!” Akins warns, snarling.

“What are you gonna do, Anubis?” the strange man teases, turning his head the other way. Akins cringes at the sound of his own alius, revealing the true reason this moron is here. Fine, he wants to play with Anubis? He can play with Anubis real good.

Akins plants his hands on the concrete, spinning his feet in the air to distract the man. The taller man swipes his foot aside, leaving an opening for Akins to plant the other one square on his jaw. The stranger stumbles only slightly, but Akins flips back on his feet and slams his palm hard onto his nose. The man reaches behind him, pulling out a meat cleaver the size of Akins’ hand.

What I wouldn’t give for my khopesh right now Akins thinks. Akins steps back to dodge the behemoth’s attacks, each swing of the knife only narrowly missing his cold skin.

“What’s wrong, Anubis? Can’t take out one guy with a measly little knife?!” he cries, a sickening laugh forcing itself through his lips. Akins ducks beneath a horizontal slash, smirking triumphantly. Akins brings his wrist up against the handle of the knife, knocking it from between his fingers. Grasping the blade before it can ever hit the ground, Akins spins around and holds the blade snugly against his jugular.

“I would advise you to never attack your superiors, but I suppose you won’t live long enough to learn from your mistakes…” Akins growls. The man spits on Akins’ cheek, the final straw. Blood spatters against his face as Akins slides the metal through the warm flesh, ending the fool’s life.

“That was a clean kill, Anubis. Metaphorically, of course, you made quite a mess,” a voice teases. A woman emerges from the shadows, a triumphant but not cocky smile placed on her petite lips.

“Don’t call me that. And do I know you?” Akins asks, dropping the knife on the cooling corpse beneath him. “You seem to know me rather well, know me more than anyone else.”

“How rude of me. My name is Sylvia Christal, representative of the UAA,” she bows.

“Never heard of them.”

“I should think not. But we have heard so much about you…” she smiles.

“Yeah, I’m flattered and all, but I really must be going…”

“Nonsense, you wouldn’t brush me off so easily, would you?” she smirks. “Tell me, Akins Mubarak, who is it you work for?”

Akins cringes. So she knows my name, huh? “I’m with the USKA.”

“Those amateurs? Someone of your caliber should be ashamed to be surrounded by that filth,” she laughs. “Come with me, Akins. Let’s take a walk.” She holds her hand out to the Egyptian, offering it.

Looking back down at the corpse below him, the blood flowing freely onto the concrete, Akins can’t help but feel like there’s something more to her offer than just a walk. Slowly, hesitantly, he grasped her hand in his own. “Call me Anubis.”

Kurt took in a breath of fresh air as he exited his college. He'd passed an exam he'd been studying for, which he was one of only a few to pass, it was wonderful weather out, it was a good day.

'Nothing can stop this day from being good.' He thought to himself, smiling as he approached the gate to exit the college grounds. Out of no where, a small bullet flew straight for his head, and Kurt quickly tilted his head forward as the bullet passed over his head, but his expression was filled with boredom. A few more shots were fired, and he dodged them with ease. 'Ugh, why does someone always have to barge in and ruin my happy day...' Kurt had already pinpointed where the shots were coming from, and already noted that there was no one else around to see."Good grief..." He said aloud.

He put down his backpack and removed the case that held his chain scythes, since it wasn't allowed to have them in sight on a school campus. More shots were fired as he removed the scythes from the case, and he blocked them all with the case itself.
'Someone's happy to see me.' He thought, smiling as he finally took them out, dropping the case to the floor. "For someone who was arrogant enough to challenge me to a fight, you've really got to work on aiming, your shots are so predictable." Kurt jumped in diagonal lines, from left to right, as if he was wall jumping, while the person was firing a constant barrage of bullets at him. Kurt sliced each and every bullet in half, still smiling. 'This is an easy opponent isn't this.'

He ran to the tree that the gunner was in, jumped, and kicked it, so that the school doesn't wonder about a sudden missing tree. The tree shook and a large muscular man fell down, he carried a large machine gun, and several cartridges of bullets wrapped around him. He charged at Kurt, trying to use the gun to hit him, but all swings were unsuccessful, as Kurt jumped back at each one, turning backwards as well, so all in all, they were going in a large circle, so he couldn't corner Kurt. Kurt yawned, watching the swings miss, and miss again. "This is getting boring and is now drag-" He said, when suddenly, he switched from a swing to gunning again, Kurt side-stepped, but the bullet graced his ribs, creating a cut in his skin and his clothing. "You little bitch, I'll kill you!" Kurt glided around the man, tossing the chain around him, restraining his movements. Then from the back, he made it make one circle around his body like a rope, and put a scythe on each side of his neck. "Chained Guillotine!" He shouted as both scythes decapitated him from both sides of his neck. The body slouched forward, and the head itself rested on the scythes. Kurt tossed the head into the air and sliced it into several pieces as it fell back down to Earth.

Kurt heard a clapping sound from a distance, and he shifted his stance to face it, with his chain scythes in a battle stance. A blond haired woman appeared, with two men behind her in what looked like hazmat suits, carrying some sort of cleaner. "Good job!" She said in a russian accent. "Although quite a messy kill, and your amateur-like style, you've now become able to be a ranked assassin in the UAA." He'd heard of the UAA before from the man who'd made him do assassination things for him, but he'd never mentioned anything other than they do assassination things too, although that man didn't make Kurt join it, but some other assassination company.

"The UAA? I didn't sign up for that though... I'm part of the UKKB." Kurt said, still ready to attack as the men drew nearer, although they seemed more interested in the dead body than him.

"The UAA is a company that makes the best assassins, and now that you've killed that man, you've automatically signed yourself up for it, and the UAA is transferring your files from that place of amateurs to itself. You are now no longer with those fools, and you belong to the UAA, where you can make much more money than you ever could before! The UAA measures its assassin's powers by rank, and you've already beaten someone who was ranked pretty high up, so now you take their rank! Oh, pardon my manners, I forgot, my name is Sylvia Christal, and from now on, I shall be your agent in it."

"Hmph, straight forward, demanding, forceful, I like it. I'll go with you guys, as long as I can get some good cash from it." Kurt flashed a warm friendly smile.

"Do not worry, the UAA is the best place for you, but now you may fight to the top if you would like, from your current ranking."

"I get the feeling that if I say no, you would drag me in anyways, so fine, I will."

"Come, let us talk about the arrangements we shall make as we walk. They shall take care of the body." She said as she gestured to the men, who were blasting something as the body, which was making the blood disappear. Kurt nodded as they began talking about the UAA and the other rankings.

"Ahhh~! So great to be home...like damn!" Zect exclaimed to himself as he let gravity push him down onto his bed. He was back home and just finished a relaxing bath session after his odd encounter with Sylvia. Unable to fall asleep quite yet, the young adult decided that he should probably start packing up his stuff. He planned on spending time with his mom the entire day tomorrow so that didn't leave any time for packing. Man...how long am I gonna be away anyway? he pondered as he examined one of his shorts and folded it away neatly into a navy duffel bag. After contemplating for almost thirty minutes, Zect decided that packing for a week may be enough.

Describing him as restless after that was an understatement. It was until after a movie marathon that finally ate away at his nocturnal state. Rubbing his eyes, Zect studied the ticket one last time along with the letter that he found in his mailbox. He had trudged home after Sylvia's leave and discovered a small package on his doorstep. Within the package was just a letter and a ticket dated for tomorrow night as Sylvia said. Sitting up straight on his bed, Zect stared at the letter for a moment before he found himself reading it in Sylvia's voice. God, that woman had an Ukrainian accent that you just can't forget easily.

"Dear Zect Chace,

Please do not lose the ticket within the package and remember to bring it with you tomorrow night. Be there on time or I will kill you ♥

You may not board the plane without it and a certain surprise will greet you tomorrow. I look forward to meeting you again.

- Sylvia Christel
"

Yawning, Zect allowed himself to slip under the covers and drift off into a deep sleep.

The night passed by quickly and Zect was feeling energized as he bolted out of his home with his duffel bag and a smaller strung bag. Before heading over to the hospital, Zect checked the front pocket of his track jacket just to be sure that the ticket was in there. Sure enough it was snug in there and to be sure that it wouldn't fall out, Zect zipped it closed and patted the pocket feeling rather satisfied. Plugging one of his earphones into his left ear, he fell into his own world again. The morning sounds of Brooklyn were drowned out by the lyrics and beats of Framing Hanley's Lollipop.

Taking a turn at the corner, Zect peered into the thick of the fog that was covering the streets. The fog wasn't that thick but it was pretty eerie when it was paired with a street without a single soul around. Shrugging it off, the blue-haired killer continued his walk passing an alley way until something snatched him by the neck. It jerked and dragged him along the ground right into the alley where he stared up at the douchebag. A whip had coiled around his neck tightly and the whip's master was a well curved woman with a smug smirk on her face. Zect hopped up to his feet in a crouched stance before a sharp jerk pulled him back down on the ground.

This time, the woman spoke in a harsh whisper inches away from his face, "Where's your ticket?" It wasn't so much of a question but more of a demand to hand it over. He couldn't believe that he was getting mugged by a woman for something so petty. Until it occurred to him that this was what Sylvia meant by "surprise." His thought was cut short as with his oxygen supply when the woman tugged the whip tighter around his neck. Sucking in as much as he could, the young punk spat into the woman's face which caused her to stumble back in disgust.

Just as he thought, the whip loosened around his neck and took that time to break free and distance himself from her. Brushing her red hair out of her face and his spit, she let out a low growl. By the time she regained her vision in her left eye, Zect was already perched up on the roof of the building. Pointing to his crotch, he yelled out to her, "Right here ya scutch!"

The day after the encounter, business as usual. The morning he opened up, there was a small box in front of the door. Jin picked it up and examined it carefully. He let out a sigh and threw it to the dumpster. The dumpster exploded but was still fine. He was surprised that the dumpster was still intact. He went to the back and found another box. This time he just opened it up.

"Dear Jin Starski,

I hoped you like my little surprised. It would of been a shame if it would kill you. In this box is a ticket. Sadly, I won't be able to meet you tomorrow. Don't worry, we'll meet the day after ♥ For now, I hope you enjoy the second part of the surprise later.

- Sylvia Christel"

Jin was not amused. This would slow down business. He picked up the ticket and stuffed it in his pocket. He heard the front door open so he went back in front. He wonder what would be on the television...

Jin went out for his usual smoke. Nothing special happen during the day. After he closed up, he went to the back. He looked up at the sky. He could barely see the moon. It was blocked by a cloud.

Why the bloody hell does everyone bother me when I'm trying to enjoy a smoke...

The cloud was gone and the moon shone brightly. He looked up again to find someone in a cloak.

"Hand me that ticket."

"You mean this one?"Jin pulled out the ticket from his pocket and threw it in the air.

"Why don't you get it, you wanker."

The person took the cloak off. He looked like a teen. The kid pulled out a claymore from his back.

"You don't look bad ass kid. You look like a wannabe Muppet."

The kid jumped down and started to slash crazily. It was as if he was a rookie. Jin felt a burning sensation on his chest. He looked down to see his shirt has been burnt through. Acid huh... What a dumb little trick...

Jin sighed and pulled out his weapon. Dumb kid wants to get killed...

"Congratulations. You ruined my shirt. Thus, I will kill you."

Akins lays back in his bed, hands behind his head. The ceiling looms over him silently, shielding him from the rain that’s causing quite the ruckus. Akins cringes at the booming thunder that shakes his apartment, lights flickering off and then on again. He hates thunderstorms.

He needs silence right now, that’s why the storm is irritating him so much. His walk with Sylvia was more than a headache. She offered him a place in her guild of assassins, this UAA. Apparently it pays better than his current organization, but he’s going off the word of a single woman. How does he know she isn’t a cop?

The main thing that worries him is that this position would require him to leave. He doesn’t know if it’s permanent or just a mission, but it could be either. On top of that, the woman altogether gives him the chills. How did she know about Anubis? Everybody in the criminal world has heard of Anubis, but never his real identity. The resources of this UAA place must be something serious.

Shaking the thoughts from his head, he rolls over in his bed to get some sleep.

Akins wakes up to a knocking on his door. Groaning in protest at waking up when the sun is just beginning to peek through his curtains, he sits up in bed slowly, brushing his white locks out of his eyes and walking towards the door. When he opens it, he sees nothing but a lone box sitting in front of his apartment door. A small bow is tied around the top, Christmas-style, and a note sitting beside it. Tucking the box under his arm, he unfolds the note.

Hello, Akins. It occurred to me that my offer may have been a bit overwhelming to you, so let me make a couple of things clear.

This is, just as I said before, an offer. Although I encourage your acceptance, it is completely optional. If you wish to continue your assassination career with those amateurs, then by all means.

This is not a permanent relocation, simply an assignment. Upon this assignments completion, you will be fully welcomed into the ranks of the UAA. Assuming you are still breathing, of course.

Within the package is a plane ticket for a 11:45 flight at Jerald International Airport. Tonight. You are to be there on time, an associate of mine will be there to greet you. Do not, under any circumstances, EVER lose this ticket. It’s your only link to the UAA. And do enjoy the surprise, won’t you?

With warmest regards, Sylvia Christal

Well wasn’t that touching? Knowing Sylvia’s sick sense of humor, this surprise is more than likely another attempt on Akins’ life. Rolling his eyes, Akins sees no reason not to accept her offer. If it’s temporary, then why shouldn’t he accept the job? And if she really is trying to kill him, how tough can Sylvia really be?

Suddenly he gets the feeling that he doesn’t want to know the answer to that question.

Shrugging, Akins returns to his room to pack up a few things. His mask, armor, some extra day-clothes, and of course his weapons. As an afterthought, he slips his cologne into the side pocket of his duffle bag as well (you can never be too careful). He slides the ticket into his back pocket and departs for the airport. It’s an 11:45 flight, and now it’s 4:00 (dear Ra he overslept), and he needs to make a couple errands in town. If he leaves now, he should be able to make it back to his house and be off to the airport just in time.

Akins leaves his house, dagger strapped to his hip. His coat hangs down over his pants leg concealing it, and warmly keeping his skin from the rain as well. He decided to take this with him as a last-second decision. After the incident last night, he’s wary to go anywhere unarmed, but his khopesh is way too big to hide in public.

(The dagger Akins uses is a traditional Egyptian dagger. The handle is gold with an eagle design on it to symbolize Ra. The blade is swirly, sort of like a stiletto)

Akins walks in silence towards the drug store for the last of his supplies. Rain patters down all around him, so he pulls his hood closer around his face. Stupid rain, stupid thunderstorm, stupid Sylvia…

“Why me?” he wonders aloud. A scream snaps his attention to the entrance to an alleyway ahead of him. Two teens run out from it, their jackets flailing behind them as they sprint around Akins. As one of them brushes against his shoulder, the unmistakable scent of blood floods his senses. Akins catches the bloodied boy by his arm, stopping him.

“Let me go, he’s gonna get us!” he cries.

“What happened?”

“I-I don’t know. We just went outside to smoke, and this thing…Daron…” he mutters, the younger one’s thoughts clearly scrambled by the adrenaline. Releasing his arm, Akins slides his knife into his hand and steps into the alley.

“Anubis…” someone mutters. A man steps out of the shadows, his entire body hidden in a black cloak. Where his face should be is instead a skull, though it’s clearly a mask. Resting atop his shoulders is a coal black scythe, the blade dripping with fresh blood.

“And here I thought masks were my thing. And you know it’s November, right? Halloween’s over,” Akins mocks, brandishing his dagger.

“Give me…your ticket…” he mumbles, stepping closer to Akins. The man is easily six feet tall, probably well past that.

“I don’t think you’ll make it through security with that get-up. Post 9/11 paranoia and whatnot. Now just put down the scythe and we’ll work out our problems.”

The metal pierces the air, scythe swinging directly at Akins’ head. Akins brings up his forearm to block the attack, smirking. The sound of metal hitting metal rings through the air as the scythe hits his arm.

“What?!” the freak exclaims.

“You like it? That’s my new armor. I figured I should bring it along since Sylvia warned me of her surprise,” Akins explains triumphantly. Pressure intensifies against Akins’ arm as the man presses harder, but Akins brings up his left knee and slams it into the robed man’s gut. The man coughs into his mask, doubling over slightly.

“D-Damn you, Anubis…” he mutters as he slumps down on the ground. Akins rolls his eyes, jabbing his knife into the man’s back hastily. Ripping it away from the flesh, the man grunts before falling into silence.

“What a pathetic excuse for a surprise. These UAA guys must be the real amateurs,” Akins protests. Wiping his blade off on his pants, Akins comes to a disturbing realization. Why is there no blood on my knife?

Turning back to the man, Akins hears a low chuckle ring through the air. Ripping the cloak off his large body, he stands to face Akins head-on. Dark red chainmail is tight against his muscular body. The parts not covered by the armor are bare against the wind, his skin a dark color not unlike Akins’.

“It’s been a long time, Akins. You’ve grown,” the man chuckles. Tearing the mask away from his face, Akins gasps and takes a step back.

“I know you…you’re from my clan…an Outcast!” Akins cries, stumbling back. The red armor on the man is the symbol of the Outcasts, a group of followers of the Old Way who worship Set, the God of Evil. The face before him is scarred nearly beyond recognition, but Akins distinctly remembers this man as the assistant of the old Chief of his clan...an Outcast?!

“Correct, Akins,” he smirks. He pulls his scythe high into the air, the lightning reflecting off the bloodied blade. “Set will have your soul!”

"Whoa!" Zect flipped back as the red-haired she-demon lashed out violently at him with her whip. Zect gave a smirk as he crept over the roof and stared down into the alleyway where the woman continued snarling at him. She tightened her whip and let fly another crack at the boy who dodged it easily by moving out of reach. "If ya wanna kill me, yer gonna hafta play on my turf, sweetheart," another hand gesture provoking her to come after him. "My name ain't 'sweetheart' its Karen Holde and why don't you come down here so I can crush your larynx?" she hissed impatiently when Zect feigned consideration at her suggestion. He huffed briefly and stretched when Yellowcard's Breathing played clearly into his ear.

It was go time whether that psycho bitch liked it or not.

But the air is never cold...I just can't give you anything to call your own

The young Brooklyn resident then made a dash for it and disappeared from Karen's sight, heading towards the other buildings. She'll definitely chase after me if she ever wants to see this ticket... his thoughts drifted through his mind clearly as he lept down from the apartment building. Sure enough, Karen was at his heels however, she chose to chase him on the ground rather than above the buildings. It didn't bother him since he was an experienced free-runner and if anything, there were more obstacles on the ground. Much to his surprised, she didn't use her whip and rather, threw small daggers at him. Damn this bitch sure was whack... that thought was cut off when a dagger had knicked his left cheek.

More daggers were thrown but thankfully, Zect had managed to use a tree conveniently planted on the sidewalk as leverage for his front flip into a back flip. The four daggers that were aimed at him found themselves stuck into the tree's thick trunk. Wiping the blood from his cheek with the back of his hand, Zect gave a smug reply back, "Whatsthatmatterferu? Yooze got holes fer eyes?"

Giving Karen little to no chance to reply, Zect slipped away again around a street corner into a department store's parking lot.

Jin stared at the kid. He was skinny and looked weak. His legs and arms were shaking. His eyes were strong and determined though. Jin sighed. He would make this fast and painless. The kid was shifting his eyes towards Jin and the ground. Jin saw the ticket and kid looked like he was about to run for it.

Suddenly the kid yelled and started to slash crazily again. Jin raced for the ticket and picked it up. Some of the acid splashed over his arm. He held in the urge to swear and started to run backwards. The alley was to small to fight in so he would be at a disadvantage. He could see the kid get frustrated and yelled out again. Jin ran to the park and hid behind the slide.

The kid walked in and started to breath heavily. Carrying around the huge sword for his size must be tiring. Jin jumped out and started to fire. The bullets missed and hit the sword. The kid stumble back but regained his balance. He started to spin and spray the acid everywhere. Everything but the plants and ground seemed to be fine.

Jin realized that the acid couldn't burn through metal. He broke a piece of the slide and threw it at the kid. The Kid blocked it and stumble again. Jin took 2 shots and hit the kid in the foot. He yelled out and slash out again. Jin was already behind him by then.

"Sorry kid, but you chose poorly and decided to fight me."

Jin pulled the trigger. The kid slumped down and laid there. Jin picked up the sword. He started to head back home.

Wonder how much I can sell this for...

RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN!!! Akins screamed in his mind as he fled from the scythe-wielding Outcast. The former member of Akins' clan cackles maniacally behind him, scythe piercing the air with every slash. Half of the time he doesn't even aim for Akins, he just slashes it for the hell of it. And then laughs like a maniac.

"Run and run as fast as you can, you can't escape me cuz I've got a scythe, bitch!" he cackles, swinging his scythe forward to catch Akins' foot. Akins stumbles a little bit, his pants leg cut open but clinging to the sweat on his skin. Akins runs desperately towards his apartment where his khopesh lies waiting for him, his only chance to defeat the Outcast in pursuit.

What the hell am I gonna do?! Akins thinks, trying to formulate some kind of plan. A sudden idea makes him almost laugh out loud, so Akins digs down into the bottom of his pocket to pull out something he had been meaning to use today.

“You want my ticket? Fine, just leave me alone!” Akins pleads, throwing the paper into the wind but never ceasing to run. The Outcast laughs, dropping his scythe to the ground to retrieve the paper with both hands. Grasping the fragile material in his hands, he grins as he unfolds it to find its contents.

“This isn’t your ticket, this is a coupon for HALF-OFF POTATO CHIPS!!!” he roars, tearing the paper in half and scooping up his scythe. Akins laughs out loud, cupping his hands around his mouth and yelling back to his opponent.

“Hey, that was gonna save me two bucks you prick!” he teases. Now approaching his apartment, Akins grins as he hears the man scream in rage as he gives chase. Akins slams the door to his apartment shut and locks it, trying to slow down the man as much as he can.

After several failed turns of the doorknob, the Outcast gives in and kicks the door down without a second thought.
“Where are you, Anubis?”

“You’re gonna have to come find me!” Akins calls from another room. Growling, the huge man follows Akins’ voice to his bedroom, where Akins is standing calmly facing away from him. Akins turns slowly to face his opponent, khopesh bransihed and mask strapped onto his face. Grinning beneath the metal, Akins tightens his grip. The Outcast’s grin matches his perfectly, swinging the scythe at a wide angle. The blade scratches against the wall, tearing some of Akins’ posters and slicing up the wallpaper. Bringing the blade up calmly, Akins blocks the scythe’s attack in a single stroke.

“Big mistake."

Kurt fell onto his bed lazily and closed his eyes. 'Man what a long day this has been...' He thought, just as he heard a knock on his door. "Come in." He called out, as the figure entered, as though they were going to come in anyway.

"Kurt!" The woman exclaimed. It was his foster mother, no older than 50 years of age, and she was holding a small brown cardboard box with his name on it. "A package arrived for you while you were gone!"

"Thanks mum put it on my desk, I'll open it in a sec." She places the box on his working desk, which also had a small lamp and a couple of books on the sides. Kurt sighed as he forced his way to sit up; he didn't have to look at it to know who it was from. He lathargically made his way to the desk, opened a drawer, and pulled out a small pocket knife he used to open boxes and letters. He stabbed the tape and ripped it in two, and efficiently cutting it off. Upon the opening of the box, something popped and he jumped backwards. Green styraphome peanuts shot and stuck to the ceiling, burning through some paint and wood before shriveling up and falling outside the box. Cautiously Kurt approached the box once more, knife in hand. He peered inside in case another trap sprung up, but saw there was only a letter and what looked like a plane ticket.

Kurt sighed and lowered his guard, picking up the letter.

"Dear Bané Bané,

Hehehe, did you like my surprise? If you are reading this that means you are not as stupid as some others. I want you to be at this place at the specified time with the ticket that comes with this. One of my asociates will be there to greet you and explain more. Your first destination is in a place close by to your nearest airport, when you are done 'talking' with my asociate, you may move on to the airport and take the flight. Do it or I will personally come over there and kill you myself.

Sincerely, Sylvia Christel
P.S. If you do not have that ticket on you, you cannot participate in this, so do not let anyone take it!"

'Ugh, a job already? But we just talked like half an hour ago...' He complained to himself and sighed. 'Looks like it's for tomorrow, fine, challenge accepted Sylvia!' Kurt picked up the ticket and inspected it. It didn't have a destination written on it, but had a flight number, time, and seat number, with a waterprint mark of the letters UAA on it. 'Great, I wonder who else is gonna be on that plane...' He walked over to his mirror that was on his wall and picked it off its hook. Placing it on the ground, he turned it around and opened a secret compartment he used to keep all things confidential, shoving the letter and ticket inside, then re-hanging it, making it looked as though no one touched it. He threw the box and shriveled peanuts into the garbage can and flopped onto his bed. 'Great, one long day after another, I wish I could take a break geez...' Were his thoughts as he slipped into unconsciousness.

He woke up the next morning, making note of the time. The time he'd to be there was during school hours, so he would leave, pretending to go to school so he didn't draw any suspicion from anyone at the home. He slipped the letter and the ticket into his pocket, slung his backpack over his shoulder, and left the home, the chain scythes still inside the bag. He walked, and turned down corner after corner, reaching his destination, still a couple hours early, and no one was there yet. He waited, hiding in a tree to be on the safe side. Half an hour before the specified time, a strange figure in a dark blue hoodie appeared, and stood in a single spot at the specified location, staring at the ground.

'That's probably what I'm here for, Sylvia is probably going to pop out of no where again to tell me anything else I need to know before heading to the airport.' Kurt sighed, knowing there was no backing down now. 'Good grief, looks like I'm gonna be busy.'

"Hup!" with a swift movement of his body, Zect jumped the railings and landed softly on his feet. Where is it?! There's gotta be one somewhere... he thought frantically as he surveyed the parking lot. It was almost completely desolate save for the many pieces of litter scattered. Duh, it's early as fuck right now 'course there--

Diving and hiding behind a support pillar of the parking lot, Zect listened closely to the footsteps that echoed throughout the area. A loud slam of a car door and an alarm's beep informed him that it was merely a worker. Looking out, the worker had already stepped into the elevator and was on his way up to the department stores. He had already started moving when the elevator's door had shut closed and he was now at the man's car. It was a real beauty and it was just what he was looking for.

Perfect..

Karen was at her wit's end with this strenuous game of cat and mouse she had been "playing" with Zect. It was time to end it all. She had finally made it to the parking lot that she saw Zect slink into. As expected, the entire parking lot was empty except for one car. It was a beautiful, clean, and red Mercedes Benz that frankly, looked out of place in such a dreary lot. Looking around, there was nowhere else for the blue monkey to hide except the pillars. Might as well check the car first

Approaching the car, Karen had one of her daggers in hand and brushing a strand of hair away from her face; a dreadful scream was let out once she peered through the tinted window of the car.

"Surprise motherfucker!"

Zect was grinning from ear to ear when he had let his fist smash through that window and made contact to Karen's nose. Instinctively, Karen had dropped her dagger and clasped both her hands over her nose. Broken or not, it was Zect's win now that she was unarmed and had stumbled down onto the cement ground. With his hand, Zect smashed Karen's head onto the ground and firmly held her in place when he revealed his butterfly knife.

"How...?" Karen hoarsely whispered into his hand before he pulled out his knife. "Heh, the car window was half-way rolled down so I slipped in easily and just rolled it back up," he explained feeling rather smart and he added, "Sorry, babe but yer not my type" he rasply whispered before his knife cut into her throat and severed her veins.

Sitting up against the red car, Zect was taking one last look at his work and it was perhaps-- dare he say it, beautiful. The shattered pieces of tinted glass almost resembled flower petals and the red of her blood really looked great on her skin. The rest of the day passed by quickly except for the extra shower and clothes change he had to do once he snuck home.

"So yeah, boss... listen, I gotta tell ya somethin'. There's this flight that imma take tonight and well, I don't know when I'll be back. Meant ta tell ya earlier and all--"

A pause. His mom was studying him to see any signs of joking coming from her son. She was even beginning to contemplate that she was going senile and hearing things. Zect had attempted to break the silence and all but his throat was knotted and words weren't forming. All he could do was look down at his hands.

Christ! I kill people for a livin' why is this so hard!?

All the cursing in his head disappeared when his mom had finally said something. Something that was unexpected to the point that Zect thought he had lost his hearing. "Whatcha say, boss?" Zect questioned once. "I said, 'a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do' so go fer it, kiddo," she repeated with a chuckle, "I'll still be here when ya get back!" a playful punch to his arm and with it, an equally playful "ow."

"Is it real son?!
Lemme know if its real, son!
If its really real, son!
Lemme know its real!

Load it up and kill one!
Load it up and kill one!
Load it up and kill one!

I'm gonna lick out your brain-ain-ains~!
"

Zect was comfortably on the plane as marked on the ticket and he was rather enjoying himself. He never had experienced luxury and simple first class was more than enough to please him. To make matters better, he was well relaxed and hitting the little whines in the song that he was singing. Oh, Jimmy you are a God sometimes. It was only when a tap on his shoulder had made him look up and pause his song.

"'Sup Sylvia?" he asked calmly and stared at her from head to toe. He wasn't interested in knowing the answer to that question and somehow, Sylvia had caught it. She gave him a smirk and spoke in her usual seductive accent, "I see you enjoyed my surprise, no? I hope you enjoy the flight and we'll soon be arriving at the UAA HQ where you'll meet your colleagues." Zect snorted at that and returned to his singing, "Movin' to your left... I came to represent and carve my name within your chest!"

Sylvia had soon lost interest in talking to him and she pressed his knife towards his direction when he had pulled it out. He smiled innocently at her and promptly placed his knife back into his pocket. After all, Zect was enjoying himself and he wasn't in a hurry to piss off Sylvia at his own expense. He'll save that for later.

Jin decided to keep the sword as a trophy. Why not? He let it hang on the wall in the bar. It didn't match very well but he didn't really care. Shame I have to be leaving so soon. He didn't really get to admire it. He went in the back and start stuffing clothes in his backpack. The radio was playing in the back. Some new pop song. Sigh...Why do I listen to this garbage?

Jin was completely bored. He finished packing and was doing nothing around the bar. Meh. Might and as well go work out.

He went to the gym two stores down. A man on the counter grinned mischievously.
"Afternoon lad.""What do you want?"The man rose up to his feet. He was a short man. He usually wasn't cheap and was very greedy."Got another job for you."The man handed Jin the envelop. Jin then sighed. "I heard you were leaving for the big leagues. Might as well do one last job here eh?."

Jin threw his cig to the floor. He was standing outside of an old apartment. His target was a family who recently moved here. Apparently, they had lost their son recently. Jin sighed. He hated coincidences like these. He walked in slowly...

Jin walked out with another lit cig. The family had hung themselves. Jin looked around for anything extra. He saw the kid in the family photo. He laughed. He went back to the bar. He checked under the mail box. The small packet was there as usually. Jin walked in and out of the bar with his backpack. Hung the note up at the door.

Leaving for awhile. Don't try to break in or find yourself dead.

He was walking into the plane. Counting his reward...

Akins, arm blocking the attack from the scythe, grabs the end of the staff and pulls it from the man’s hand. He wastes no time before launching his attack, khopesh pulled back and ready to swing. Before he can bring forth his blade, however, the Outcast runs forward at the speed of a bull and grips Akins by his throat, but not before kicking the weapon out of Akins’ hand.
“Just give me the damn ticket and I won’t have to kill you, Akins!” roars the man. Akins struggles against the man’s strength, lungs burning for the air the Outcast’s fingers are depriving him so cruelly of.
“Hey, you got something on your face,” Akins smirks. Clearly the oldest trick in the book, so the Outcast only laughs.
“You really think I’m falling for that? You’ve sunk low, Akins Mubarak!” he roars, laughing wildly. Smirking yet again, Akins plants a single foot on his opponent’s chest. Followed by the other foot, Akins pushes the man off him in one quick burst, propelling himself through the air in a picture-perfect backflip. As the Outcast recoils, Akins recovers his khopesh and throws it at his enemy.
The problem with the Outcast’s chainmail is that it stops above the shoulders, not bothering to protect his neck at all. So it isn’t unsurprising when the spinning weapon rips his head off his shoulders, blood spattering against the wall as the mass rolls onto the ground.

“Thank Ra, it’s over,” Akins sighs, dropping to his knees in exhaustion. He drags his exhausted body over to the Outcast's decapitated head, retrieving his peshekaf and running it between his lips. He whispers a brief prayer before standing.
Akins slowly begins cleaning up the mess when he stands again, retrieving a huge trash bag for the man’s body. He wipes the blood off the walls quickly, because looking down at his watch he sees that he doesn’t even have enough time to run to the store before he catches his plane. He removes his armor hastily (good luck getting through a metal detector with that) and crams it into a bag. Hoisting it over his shoulder (and quickly disposing the body in the dumpster behind his apartment building), he sprints off in the direction of the airport.

Once there, Akins gets onto the plane much faster than airport logic should dictate. In less than an hour and a half (which, yes, is fast for an airport) he’s on a plane headed for Los Angelas, California, where he’ll switch flights to Moscow, Russia.
He seats himself in First Class, where Sylvia had been so nice to purchase him a window seat to himself. The plane takes off a few minutes after his seating, and Akins has a death grip on the arm rests throughout the whole ascension. He hates flying.
When the plane levels out and travels on a steady path on his 5 hour flight, Akins finally relaxes and rests his head against the cool window. Outside, a peaceful view of the clouds below look like they could cushion a fall from even the highest of heights. Smiling at the notion, Akins drifts off into sleep.

(Akins’ dreams will be written in green text. Before I go any further, know a couple of facts about Egyptian Mythology: Anubis is the God of Funerals, not the God of the Dead. A ba is the Egyptian word for soul, and is represented by a human’s head, in this case Akins’ head, mounted on top of a giant bird body. I am not kidding at all. Duat is the realm of the Gods.)
Akins feels his body go weightless, his ba lifting out of his sleeping form on the plane. Akins crinkles his nose in disgust as he looks down at his glowing form, his head stuck on top of a glowing chicken. So weird, but however Ra wants it.
A current in the Duat rushes him out of the plane, his transparent body flying straight through the metal walls and into the air. Akins feels no wind on his skin as his body flies across the country. He doesn’t know where he’s going, but he sees himself go East by looking at the Sun. Eventually, he finally finds where the Duat is sending him; another plane?

“’Sup Sylvia?” the stranger asks. The man looks like something out of a comic book; shaggy blue hair, loose tank top and a hysterical belt buckle that says “SEX” in chrome letters. Being perfectly honest, he’s damn attractive.
Sylvia steps up to the stranger, leaning over happily to speak with him. Akins assumes that he’s another assassin working under her organization, and Akins finds himself hoping that he won’t have to fight the man. He breathes a sigh of relief when he remembers that he’s invisible in his glowing chicken form.

“I see you enjoyed my surprise, no? I hope you enjoy the flight and we'll soon be arriving at the UAA HQ where you'll meet your colleagues,” Sylvia grins down at him. “Get comfortable, Zect. It’s a long flight.”
“Hello, Akins,” someone says. A man materializes in the empty seat next to Zect, his body swirling out of thin air. His hair is rustled in a black heap atop his head, his features delicate but also strong. His chocolate brown eyes rest lazily on Akins’ form.
“Who are you?” Akins questions hastily. He knows that only a God would have the power to summon his ba here, but he’s taken on a human form. If he’d taken his true form, Akins would know if it were Horus, or Bes, or whatever. Instead, he sees a glowing attractive teenage boy sitting to a just-as-attractive teenage boy who has no idea he’s sitting next to a God.
“You really don’t know who I am? You’ve been following my path your entire life, Akins,” the man smiles. Akins’ eyes widen and he unconsciously bows slightly.
“I’m so sorry I didn’t recognize you, Lord Anubis,” he apologizes. The God waves him off, dismissing his apology and standing from the airplane seat. He walks through Zect’s form, who is focused intently on his iPod and completely oblivious of the power he’s so close to.
“It’s no big deal. Anyway, as much as I’d like to chat with one of my only followers, I’m afraid I’m here on business,” Anubis explains. “I was wanting to warn you about Sylvia.”
“What about her?”
“Honestly, I don’t trust her. She’s sneaky, knows things that even I don’t fully understand. Remember how she already knew who you were? She has contacts that are beyond my range of knowledge,” Anubis explains, seemingly ashamed that a God is ignorant in this situation.
“So what do you want me to do?” Akins asks, desperate for guidance from his first real contact with his patron God.
“It’s against the ancient laws for me to provide direct guidance,” Anubis frowns. “Honestly, I’m not sure if even this is allowed. Osiris will probably end up chewing me out later. All I wanted to do was give you a little warning, in case something happens. Also, I wanted to thank you.”
“Thank me ? For what?”
“For stopping the Outcast back in the city. I have a personal vendetta with Set and his worshipers, but I'm not strong enough to take on Set and I'm not allowed to kill his followers. I was lucky enough to have a follower of my Path who was strong enough to take him out,” the God smirks. “And thanks for doing the Opening of the Mouth ceremony, too. He tried to testify against the Feather of Truth, Osiris couldn’t stop laughing. He’s currently trying to hold his sanity against eternal punishment in Ammit’s gut.”
“Ammit the Devourer?”
“The one and only. He’s so much cuter than everyone expects from a creature living in the Duat. Anyway, I’ve wasted enough of your time. Time works differently when you’re in the Duat, your plane is about to land in Los Angeles.”
Akins tries to protest that he’s only been here a few minutes, but Anubis places a single hand on Akins’ glowing form. The light around him intensifies, his ba flying out of the plane and back into the air. He only manages to sneak one last glance at Zect before he’s soaring above the clouds.

Akins gasps as he awakens, jumping out of his seat slightly. He looks around to see that all of the other passengers are all retrieving their bags from the overhead compartments and exiting the plane, despite Akins’ feeling that only minutes have passed in his five hour flight. Shaking the thoughts from his head, he retrieves his own bags and enters the new airport. From there, he boards his plane to Moscow, where his destiny has been leading him for a long time.
Yet Anubis’ warning left a sinking feeling in Akins’ gut.

Kurt grabbed at his backpack and made sure the scythes were there, then hopped out of the tree a few seconds before the time came, and approached the hooded figure, never lowering his guard. As he approached the man, he seemed to have taken notice to Kurt, but didn't meet his eyes. When Kurt was about 5 feet away from him, the man began to speak.

"You shouldn't have come. You'll only be dragged into a world of pain and misery." He spoke slowly, but surely, at a specific rhythem and pace, never missing a beat.

"Pain and misery huh? My favorite type of world. Now, do as the letter told me you would and tell me what's going to happen." Kurt said, a slightly smug smile on his face. The man sounded pretty sure that Kurt wasn't going to be able to beat him, and he hated people that judged his abilities. To be honest he was a little pissed at this guy's attitude.

"Fine then, have it your way. You've been recognized by the UAA as an assassin and we want you to fight to the top for us. Now what you don't know is that when you join, you can only get out by killing yourself or get killed. Right now you're on your way to the airport, and the plane leaves in a few hours, you have to beat me and get to the plane before it takes off. Those are the rules of this fight. You can still go back, but you'll be killed on the way. Do you accept the rules?"

"But of course. This world is either kill or be killed. I like to kill, and you will be killed." Kurt slipped off his backpack, swiftly brought out his chain scythes from their cases, and kicked his bag to the side, positioning his body into a battle stance. "Let's see what you've got then."

"I warned you." The man lifted his head for the first time and looked him straight in the eyes. They were black and empty like a bottomless pit. His face was covered in tattoo's and appeared to be bald and in his mid 20's. His appearance only aggravated Kurt, he hated tattoo's that were obnoxious and got in the way. "COME AT ME!" He ripped off his hoodie from body, revealing his muscular body, also covered in tattoo's, and a katana strapped to his back. He drew the katana and jumped at Kurt, katana held horrizontally in front of him. Kurt used the upper part of the right scythe to deflect the katana upwards, as the man shot a fist at Kurt's stomach, knocking Kurt back a full foot onto his back. Kurt used the momentum to lift his legs into the air, and tip himself like a ball using his hands, to launch himself back onto his feet. He barely had enough time to react as a flurry of punches and slashes began flying into his face. He jumped back in order to dodge, but the man kept advancing on him, never stopping to rest. Kurt searched him desperately for an opening, for without one, he'd surely lose. He searched to toe and still nothing until he realized something obvious.

'Of course! That's it! His feet!' Kurt jumped back once more, but this time, his objective wasn't to dodge the attacks, but to knock him off his feet, which he was successful in. Kurt fell and kicked the ankle the man was standing on at the time and he fell forward over Kurt, hitting the ground hard. Kurt used this to his advantage and pushed himself to his feet with his hand and towered over the man who was busy trying to get to his feet, his body scratched and cut from the ground's hard surface. Kurt crossed his blades and tried to end it by slashing through his body, but he reacted and stopped both with his katana. Kurt's strength wasn't enough so he jumped back, sliding on the ground from the sheer force that was being put onto him.

"You gonna try charging me again?" Kurt mocked. "It's not gonna work, I know the weakness of that one."

"True," he replied, "but you haven't seen all my tricks yet." He switched his stance and jumped to Kurt's side, attempting a slash, which was blocked, then in a diagonal direction he tried again, which Kurt barely blocked, then once more, which Kurt couldn't fully get to that ripped through his shirt and dug an inch into his skin, the jumps making a full triangle. He continued to follow the triange, only getting in one more slash before it got predictable. Kurt used the chain to stop the chain that fifth time and knocked it out of the man's hand, cringing at the pressure due to his cut which were still pouring a bit of blood. He then punched the man straight in the nose knocking him back to the ground as he clutched his nose.

"NO MORE!" Kurt shouted in agitation. "I'LL END THIS RIGHT HERE!" Kurt ran up to the man who was clutching his nose, blood seeping through his hands, and grabbed him by the neck, and lifting him up. He then tossed him stright up into the air only a foot, and threw the scythe, making the chain wrap around the back of his neck, coming back into his hand. He pulled at both scythes in opposite directions, squeezing and crushing the man's neck, cutting off his wind pipe and blood circulation. The man grabbed at the chain desperately trying to get it lose, but with no air or blood, he was already losing consciousness. "CHAIN CUTTER!" Kurt pulled even harder at the scythes, causing them to dig farther into the neck, ripping the skin from pressure, then breaking through, and breaking the vertabre and his brain's stem, completely dismembering the head from the body. The lower half fell back, and splattered blood onto the ground on impact, and the head fell onto the stomach, rolling off almost immediately. Kurt lowered his scythes, falling to his knees with exhastion, only now paying attention to his cuts, which had stopped bleeding. Kurt wouldn't have been able to go home to clean it properly, but he'd expected things like this, so he took hydrogen peroxide, bandaids, and medical tape from the cabinet, along with extra clothes in case they got blood stains on them. They had a few of each, so he knew they wouldn't miss it. He'd also put a letter on his bed with a lie about where he'd gone, that it was some free school trip to some place for a while, and he didn't know when he'd be back.

Kurt took out the disinfectant and applied it to his wounds, cringing at the sting, then took out two large bandaids and placed them on the cuts. Getting up he looked at the blood stained katana and the dead body and remembered this was his first official kill in the UAA. He took out a camera and took pictures of it: one of both the man and katana, one of just the katana, and one of just the man. He looked at the time and noticed there were two hours before the plane left. He changed his shirt into one that didn't have blood on it, and hurried over to the airport. It was fairly empty, and the fact that he had only a carry-on backpack made it all the more quicker. He went through item check, the metal detector not picking up his scythes because the case deflects rays such as those and rearranges those it deflects to make it look like just clothes. He made it to the gate around 40 minutes before it would board so he ate lunch at the airport because he'd rather not eat airplane food. He'd already taken note that it was going to Moscow, Russia, and figured it'd be around a 6 hour flight, so he'd planned to sleep on the way there.

He boarded with no problems, feeling special because the ticket was first class. There was no one next to him so he got his row to himself, taking advantage of that by putting his backpack in the seat next to him. The plane was steadily in the air and Kurt was just about to fall asleep when a flight attendent approached him, tapping him on the shoulder. He normally hated it when people stopped him from sleeping, and was about to get angry at him when Kurt noticed the attendant was really cute. Kurt blushed and the anger dissapated into nothingness as he stared at the man's muscular figure, slight 5 o'clock shadow, and tanned skin color.

"Y-yes?" Kurt asked, trying to keep his composure. The man smiled at this and handed him a phone.

"Sylvia would like to speak with you." He said, staring into Kurt's eyes. "Use this phone to contact her now, I'll take the phone back once you're done. She is already registered as a contact."

'If I'm getting her number why don't I get yours as well' Or at least that's what he wanted to say, he was too nervous to. This man was like medusa, his stare turned him rock hard, metaphorically, and physically. He unlocked the phone and went to the contact list. Surely, she was the only self registered one there are the top of the list. He tried to go into the contact but somehow, it wouldn't let him, so he just pressed the send button and called her.

*ring ring* "Hello?" She answered in her best 'Oh-no-I-wasn't-expecting-a-call-who-is-this' voice.

"Hey Sylvia, it's Bané Bané speaking. Needed something?"

"Ah, yes, Bané! It seemz jú cannot be stopped, but we will see how far jú will get before jú are. You are currently on a plane zat iz heading for ze UAA headquarterz. There, jú vill meet with jour comrades zat ve recruited at ze same time as jú. Zey are also assassins of great talent, and jú are ze fourth. Ze flight attendant is also part of ze UAA and vill be ze vone to drive you to ze headquarters. I hope to see jú soon, or maybe not, get to ze headquarters as soon as jú can, I vill be avaiting jour arrival! It zeems I have anozer call coming through, Bye Bye!" She hangs up quickly and Kurt locks the phone, blushing even harder at the fact that this man will be driving him. The man seemed to be in his low 20's so Kurt figured he had a shot.

"Done?" Said the man, snapping Kurt back to his senses.

"Huh? Oh, yeah..." He said as he started to hand the phone back. "You know, I wasn't able to get Sylvia's number down since it was locked off, so can I have yours as compensation?" He tried to say as smoothly as possible.

The man smirked at the fact he was being hit on by another man. "Considering Sylvia agknowledges you as an assassin must mean you're stronger than you look, so sure, you'd probably try to kill me if I said no." He took out a notepad from his back pocket, scribbled some numbers onto it, ripped it off, folded it, and handed it to Kurt. "Don't unfold that until you get to your room, k?" He said sexily, picking up Kurt's hand and placing the paper into it.

"O-okay." Kurt said, officially turned on, shaking with happiness and nervousness at the same time. The man walked out of sight when Kurt realized he forgot to ask for his name and cursed to himself. He sighed and leaned against the window. He closed his eyes and drifted to sleep, thinking about that man for the rest of the flight.

"Damn, finally we're here!" Zect was feeling pumped as he watched the plane land soundly. It was the first time that he had ever travelled outside of New York and it made him feel like a little kid in a toy store. Zipping up his jacket, he was the first to bolt out once the plane's door opened. Much to his surprise, the weather was much more cold than he expected and he actually had to shove his hands in his pockets to keep them warm. Damn it! Wut's takin' Sylvia so long?! He was screaming in his head and even regretting not staying on the plane. He could've sworn that the wind was literally cutting at his skin.

"Enjoying the weather I see," Syliva's distinct voice gnawed at him and she had taken off her flight attendant outfit. She was now dressed like a cozy, classy french model of some sort. She had that usual smirk plastered on her face. Oh, how he had grown to despise her the more time he spent with her. "Whateva! Jus' take us to where we needa be! I'm freezin' ma arse off." Just as he had finished his demands, a black limousine had pulled up in front of them and a well dressed driver appeared. He gave a polite bow to them both and promptly opened the door.

Zect had been taught to respect women and all but, in his book, Sylvia wasn't a women no matter how hot she looked and plus, he was dying in the cold. He was the first to scramble in the warm shelter, followed by Sylvia who sat directly across from him. The car ride itself was pretty eerie since Sylvia didn't even make snarky comments nor poke at him during the entire ride. All she did was look out of the window just as he was. The silence was first shattered by the driver who announced that they had reach their destination.

It was any regular building to him except for that fact that it was covered in a thick layer of snow. As usual, Sylvia was the one leading and Zect followed closely behind; eager to step into the frozen building. The walk was also deathly quiet between the both of them. The building itself was like an abandoned office (judging by the fancy lobby) and just like any office structure, there was an elevator. Once inside the elevator, it was Zect who decided to speak up; it was uncomfortable for him to be in a small space that's as quiet as a funeral home. "Shabby place youze pros got he'"

Sylvia ultimately decided to ignore him and he was fine with that since the elevator took them down the the selected floor. The elevator doors slid open slowly only to reveal an even larger lobby. It seemed like everyone was busy and had somewhere to go as they didn't even give a slight amount of attention to the two of them. It was until Sylvia approached the secretary that someone actually took a good look at him. "Welcome to the United Assassin's Association!" Sylvia finally exclaimed and waved her arms out. "Of course, you're not welcomed quite yet. I'll explain your acceptance tasks after your colleagues arrive. Til then, sit there," she pointed towards a Victorian-styled seat that could seat two people at least.

Zect was about to question her yet again, only to find her walking away from him just like their first encounter. He decided that resting on there in the meantime wouldn't be a bad thing. He had to sleep off the jet lag sometime and hey, he had a fancy couch to do it on. Vaulting himself over with one hand, Zect landed comfortably ontop of the cushions and stretched himself as much as possible. Music? Check. Zipped up sweater? Check. Hoodie over my head? Check. With that, Zect was eventually lulled to sleep by his ipod and the muffled shuffling sounds of assassins coming and going.

Jin got off the plan annoyed. He sat to some obese American who kept calling the attendant. He carried his bag to near the entrance. There was a man in a black suit holding out a sign with his name. He went up to the man who just nodded at him. They went out to the limo and started to drive out. He looked out the window and saw the city.

"Hey driver, stop."

The car jerked forward and halted. Jin opened the door and got out. The streets had a few people walking around. He went out for a walk and looked around for a bar. He found on at the corner of a street. He went in and took a seat. A few other men were around drinking. Jin didn't feel like drinking. He just looked at the collection.

"You want something, you buy it."

Jin got slightly more annoyed. He decided to not start a fight and left. He lit a cigarette. He found the driver in front of him. Jin sighed and stomp it out. They drove all way to a plain building.International and professional assassins here huh? They went in to find a different place. "Not too bad."

Sylvia came in view and put on her best fake smile.

"Is it not to your liking, Jin? Don't worry, you might not see it again after this."

Before he could respond she started to walk towards the elevator. Jin was about ready to shoot her. He snickered and followed her. Once out in the new fancy room, Sylvia made her announcement.

"Welcome to the United Assassin's Association! However, before you get actually get in, you must accomplish these tests. I'm sure a person of your caliber will have no trouble. Until the other guest arrive please wait over there."

She pointed to the two-seater. Jin saw a person lying there. Same as before, he didn't get the chance to complain. He walked up the a person. He looked pretty young.

"Move you muppet."

The boy didn't seem to hear him. Jin sighed. He lifted his leg and it swiftly made contact with the boy's stomach.

Akins arrived at UAA headquarters just in time to watch Zect get a foot to the gut.

“What the hell are you doing?!” Akins yells. The Egyptian runs over and pushes the man away from the boy laying down on the couch, and prepares to scream in his face (at great effort, this guy is tall).

“Save it, Akins,” someone orders. Akins turns, blood still boiling, to find Sylvia watching the three of them with her trademark smirk. She brushes her long blond hair out of her eyes. “And Jin, compose yourself at your new place of employment, won’t you? I’d like to introduce you two to Akins Mubarak, also known as Anubis.”

“Sup,” I greet half-heartedly. Zect throws a quick glance at Akins and then shrugs, apparently returning to his music.

“Akins, this is Zect and Jin, two other assassins who were just brought on like yourself,” Sylvia introduces, gesturing from Zect to the tall guy. Akins glares at him before taking a seat on the floor in front of Zect, leaning his head against the armrest of the small couch. Zect’s head is just a few inches to his left, and Akins blushes subconsciously.

“Okay, I think we’re just waiting on Kurt now,” Sylvia muses aloud, scratching her chin absentmindedly as she walks away. Akins turns to face the blue-haired boy, grinning at the fact that the both of them are early-on assassins at the UAA. Might they be working together soon?

Ra I hope so… Akins laughs inwardly. Poking the blue haired boy’s shoulder, he smiles as he tries to strike up a conversation.

“Hey, I’m Akins. Where you from?”

Kurt couldn't help but stare at the rug in the airport, waiting for the man to finish changing in the bathroom into normal clothes rather than thw uniform so they could go to the UAA building. He tried his best to not blush and think about him changing, stripping down to just his underwear. Kurt tried to ignore the dirty thoughts but they just kept coming back. Eventually he stopped trying and let them come. 'I wonder what's taking him so long, it's been like 15 minutes.' Kurt paused to think about what could be happening with him, like he had to fight someone. 'I'd better go check on him, he's taking way too long.' He walked into the bathroom, but there was no one there except him and someone in a stall. Kurt sighed in disappointment.

"Dude, what's taking so long? It can't possibly take you this long just to change clothes..." Kurt said as he leaned against a stall door when his mind decided to be dirty again and think maybe the man was doing something else that made him take so long. He blushed madly at the thought when the man walked out of the stall, dressed in a casual dark blue sweater, the hood containing short, fluffy black fur. He wore black jeans and black sneakers, along with a gray watch and some rings on his fingers.

Sorry, he said apologetically, My hair got messed up while I was putting on my shirt, and um... I had to fix it before coming out." It was next to impossible to be mad at him with his adorable, apology-filled face. Kurt blushed, turned around to face the exit to try and hide it, and crossed his arms.

"I can forgive you this once for that, but not again. Let's go." Kurt tried to sound a bit angry, but it sounded as there was lust hidden in that first sentence. They left the airport and the man drove Kurt to the UAA, which was a good ten minutes away. Inside the car for the first few minutes, it was awkward silence, when Kurt decided to break it. "So, you never told me your name, what is it?" He smiled, but never took his eyes off the road to look at me in the passenger's seat right next to him where Kurt sat.

Bryan. My name is Bryan. It's a good thing I know your name so we can skip that part where we make it awkward and introduce ourselves." He giggled at the joke he made but quickly regained full composure. The ride was silent the rest of the ride other than the radio which was playing at a low volume. A few minutes later they arrived at an odd building, seemed ordinary enough. Bryan got out of the car quickly and opened the door on Kurt's side. "Follow me please." He took Kurt by the hand and allowed him to step out of the car, while helping him up. They walked into the large building and into the elevator, where he put in a certain floor number. 'Normal so far, I wonder if this is really it.' Kurt thought, grasping Bryan's hand tightly because he was nervous about what was beyond the elevator door. The door finally opened, revealing a large, lobby-like room, filled with people and staff.

"Welcome to the UAA! I've got to go tell Sylvia we've arrived, ser that couch? Those three people? Those are just in just like you. Hang out over there until Sylvia comes. Don't forget, call me tonight, I'm interested in what you have to say~." He strutted away into the crowd and was gone in an instant. Kurt sighed and walked over to the couch, there were three people there, and he's probably going to see more of them.

As soon as he reached the couch, he hadn't even had a chance to say 'hi' before Sylvia walked up to the four.

Good, now zat ve are all here, let us get started.
