Burning Rivalry - RP Sign-Up

Subject: Burning Rivalry - RP Sign-Up Sun Apr 01, 2012 2:13 pm

I've been part of quite a few RP's, and since we don't have one here, I figured that I'll host one.

Storyline+Dorms~

I'm not going to test anyone for this, but I'm going to use the Academy's dorms. (Since I don't have a dorm I'll join Power Tool)

The story starts with you moving to the Academy, in order to improve your dueling skills or to pursue any other dream your character might have. It's up to you, if you decide to:

- enter the Academy as "already tested"

OR

- "test yourself" by typing a fictional duel in.

If you decide to be tested, you can simply be driving to the Academy or you can be in your own room within your dorm.
If you decide to be untested, you'd have to be looking for your tester who is suppossed to be somewhere near the courts. Of course you have to go home after the test to get your bags, since you never know if you'll be taken or not (maybe your character is veeery confident and knows that he'll be taken anyway.. but that depends on how you decide to make it)

This Academy has a traditional tournament going on, that goes on throughout the whole year, in order to decide which dorm was the year's best (kind of like the contest between the Harry Potter-dorms)
However, this year every dorm seems to have been sabotaged by the others. Such as: cards gone missing, messed up dorms, incorrectly programmed duel disks. This leads to huge conflits between the Academy's dorms.

Once again: Here I give you the choice between being one of the "good guys" who tries to solve the mistery of all those problems, or you can be a "bad guy", being responsible for everything that's happened.

Allignment: Bad guy/Good guy. (If you're a bad guy, you can't just walk in on your first post and destroy the Academy. That's not the idea. Basically you're undercover and causing trouble until someone finds out about you.)

Deck: No decks that are on this Academy's banlist. Also, try to use original decks and not something overused.

Duel Spirit: Up to you. If you want one, say here who it is.

How to duel:

It's a Duel Academy, so you'll find yourself in situations where you simply have to duel.
Duel by using DuelingNetwork. Also, I'd like to use the 4000 LP rule here.

Personality: Duhike is a very easy-going guy. He can make friends with almost everyone, and loves ramen. If someone is mean to one of his friends, he becomes very protective. He is quite energetic, and wants to prove himself to those that doubt him.

Background Story: Duhike was born to a wealthy family. His parents were assassinated while he was still young, so he went to live with a close friend of his parents. That person taught Duhike how to duel. Duhike grew to like the "Crystal Beast" archetype, because they like to stick around.

Personality: A bit mysterious, tends to keep away from other people he doesnt like cocky people.

Background Story: He had a rough childhood, discarded by his parents he was taken in by a mysterious group they are he only trusts. He was given a black grey-ish ball by this group saying it would bring him power when he needs it. He doesnt feel for other human beings.

Personality:Mako is a nice and fun person,he loves spending time with friends and meeting new people,but hurt his friends and you bring out the worst in him,he will show no mercy if you show no mercy.

Background Story:Mako Is a 14 Year Old Teen just trying to get by his parents both are scientist's and are never home so they decided to send him to Cryo Duel Academy,on his birthday the parents never showed up(12th Bday)but they left him with a dueling deck and ever since then his deck has been his only allie,with the help of his duel spirit he hopes to find a bright and new future.

Allignment:Good Guy/Dark When Anger,get him anger and you know your in trouble.

You should read the storyline I came up with. What's a neutral character going to do? Sometimes cause trouble and other times be an angel? lol

Personality:Split Personality. One that is calm and happy most of the time. The other is crazy and is a maniac.Very cold to everyone. His evil side can take over on command

Background Story:Do to held back stress, he created another side to himself where he wants to win no matter what and doesn't care how. He studied many things about yu gi oh and learned how to cheat. He had become one of the master minds.

First off. Since my computer's not working lately and there's no way for me to go on DN, I'll join this RP as the card shop worker. I'm not going to duel anyone until the right time's come (my laptop's fixed) hurr~
You can either meet me in the dorm they've put me in (Power Tool) or at the card shop, when your character decides that he needs more cards.

Personality: Juji is a funny and flirty guy. He loves making others feel special in order to get their friendship and love.

Background story: Juji has never dueled before, even though he's always worked in Card Shops having cards around him 24/7. Cryo's headmaster invited him to stay in Cryo as the shop-worker, since he sees Juji's potential.

Personality: Kiel is a rather reserved free spirit who enjoys to roam wherever his legs take him. He also tends to have conflicting thoughts and he always has a hard time making judgements along with making decisions.

Background Story: Kiel grew up being influenced by both music and by dueling. With these two things mixed, he developed a love for his guitar and his love for adventuring to seek opponents to duel. It was his ideal way of living life.

Appearance:

Personality: Charles is the type of person who would lead if there is no other choice, but would rather follow. He helps out where he can, but often avoids others. His view on respect is this: "Only disrespect those that deserve to be disrespected. Those that don't are to be respected."

Background Story: Although his parents were servants to a rich family, he grew up in relative poverty. As soon as Charles discovered Duel Monsters, he was addicted. He soon accumulated enough cards to build a deck. However, the balance was WAY off. He sought to fix that, so he started working with his parents as a servant in order to attain more cards. At the age of 18, he applied for Cryo Duel Academy and was placed into Powertool Gold.

Alignment: Good

Deck: "Forgotten Warriors" (I'll provide a list if you want....) and occasionally "Machine Drain".
